Malaysian Man Has Been Partying 4 Days a Week for 5 Years—And He’s Still Going Strong

Kuala Lumpur – While most people struggle to recover from just one wild night out, 27-year-old Adam Kong has been living a lifestyle that seems almost impossible—partying an average of four days a week for the past five years without ever taking a ‘detox break.’

From midweek happy hours to weekend clubbing sessions, Adam’s schedule is relentless. Yet, he shows no signs of slowing down.

“People always ask me how I keep up,” Adam says. “Most of my friends have cut back or taken breaks, but I’ve just kept going.”

A Lifestyle Fueled by Music, Drinks, and Late Nights

Adam’s social calendar is packed. Wednesdays are reserved for rooftop bars, Thursdays for live music gigs, Fridays for club nights, and Saturdays for house parties or karaoke marathons.

“I’ve probably been to every major bar and club in KL at least once. Some of them, I go to so often that the bartenders know my drink order before I even sit down,” he jokes.

Despite the endless nights of alcohol, loud music, and sleep deprivation, Adam never seems to hit that burnout phase. His friends, who once partied alongside him, have started to tap out.

“We used to be a group of five who went out together,” says his longtime friend Daniel. “Now, it’s just Adam left. The rest of us just can’t keep up anymore.”

The Secret to Surviving Half a Decade of Partying

While Adam insists he’s just “built different,” those around him have noticed that he takes small but consistent steps to counteract the effects of his lifestyle.

“I don’t do anything extreme. I just stay hydrated, eat properly, and make sure I recover quickly after drinking,” he says.

But when pressed further, Adam admits that for the past year, he’s been relying on Party8 Hangover Recovery Aid to keep him going.

“I started using it out of curiosity, and now it’s just part of my routine. It’s RM80 for six sachets, so it’s not exactly cheap, but compared to how much I spend on drinks, it’s nothing.”

According to Adam, it’s not about partying recklessly but about “playing the long game.” He’s not planning on quitting anytime soon, and as long as he’s still enjoying the nightlife, he sees no reason to slow down.

How Long Can He Keep This Up?

With five years of heavy partying under his belt, the question remains—how much longer can Adam keep this up?

“I honestly don’t know,” he admits. “Maybe one day I’ll wake up and feel like I’ve had enough. But for now? I’m still having fun, and I’m still showing up for work. So why stop?”

While most people his age are starting to cut back on nightlife, Adam continues to prove that, for some, the party doesn’t have to end anytime soon.
